Search for a street intersection

In many geocoding applications, the address of a location is not given as a number and street name but as the intersection of two streets. When searching for a location, you can search based on the intersection of two line features.

  1. Start ArcGIS Pro, and open the Locate pane.
  2. Add any street address locator to your project, or use the default ArcGIS Online World Geocoding Service.
  3. In the search box, type the first street name; a space; an intersection connector, such as an ampersand (&); another space; and finally, the second street you want to search.

An example is Taylor Way & Elvas Ave.

  4. Press Enter.

If the address is found, the Locate pane displays the address candidates, and the candidates display on the map.
