Merge features into one feature

In the Modify Features pane, Merge Merge combines two or more polyline or polygon features on the same layer into one feature. You can modify the existing features or create a new feature on a different layer. In the pane, you choose the feature containing the attribute values you want to preserve, and you can edit them in the attributes table before merging.

A multipart feature is created when polyline or polygon features do not share at least one coincident vertex or a common edge. Point features on a multipoint layer are merged as a multipoint feature.
