The Manage Tile Cache tool failed to generate cache for the following reasons:
- Failed to create tiles in the cache directory.
- Data access problems.
Ensure you have write access to the cache directory. Check if the disk where the cache directory is stored has sufficient disk space available.
Ensure you have read access to the data source of a mosaic dataset or a map document. If the data is being accessed over a UNC share, ensure that the share is still available. Check that the network cable to the remote machine is not unplugged.
If the data is being accessed from a database, ensure that the database service is live and running.
