The dimension specified cannot be used. The most likely reasons for this are as follows:
- The dimension does not exist in the variable.
- The dimension is not defined in the input netCDF file.
Make sure to use a dimension that exists in the input variable, and make sure that the variable has been properly defined in the input netCDF file.
Note that even if a dimension appears in the drop-down list of the tool dialog box, it may not be valid to use. This may happen if the netCDF file is not compliant with the netCDF CF (Climate and Forecast) conventions. Check Fundamentals of netCDF data storage for more details.
