Der Visible Atmospherically Resistant Index (VARI) dient zur Betonung von Vegetation im sichtbaren Teil des Spektrums, wobei Lichtunterschiede und atmosphärische Effekte gemindert werden. Er ist ideal für RGB- oder Farbbilder geeignet und nutzt alle drei Farbbänder.
VARI = (Green - Red) / (Green + Red – Blue)- Green = Pixelwerte vom grünen Band

- Blue = Pixelwerte vom blauen Band

The referenced raster dataset for the raster object is temporary. To make it permanent, you can call the raster object's save method.
