Available for an ArcGIS organization licensed with the Indoors extension.
Indoo.rs is an indoor positioning system (IPS) service provider that surveys buildings and creates positioning data from Wi-Fi access points and Bluetooth beacons. The API Key and Building ID are provided by Indoo.rs and can be used by ArcGIS Indoors for iOS or ArcGIS Indoors for Android for indoor positioning. The values are encrypted or unencrypted using a key defined by your organization.
If your organization uses the Indoo.rs IPS, use the Configure Indoor Positioning geoprocessing tool to configure IPS settings for your mobile map package.
- In the Catalog pane, expand Toolboxes > Indoors Tools.pyt and double-click the Configure Indoor Positioning geoprocessing tool.
- Provide appropriate values for all the parameters.
- Click Run.
The Configure Indoor Positioning geoprocessing tool stores the API Key, Building ID, and Encryption Key in the IndoorsConfig table.
