In the Modify Features pane, Annotation edits the text string inside a selection boundary for the selected annotation feature. The context menu includes additional commands to reposition the entire feature or part of the feature by line or individual word elements.
This workflow can be useful when your edits don't require the attributes pane. The annotation selection tool selects only annotation features and excludes other feature types from the selection set.
