Delete Schema Geodatabase (Data Management)

Summary

Deletes a geodatabase from a user's schema in Oracle.

Usage

  • The Delete Schema Geodatabase tool only works with user-geodatabases in Oracle; it cannot delete the master sde geodatabase.

  • Only the owner of the schema geodatabase can run the Delete Schema Geodatabase tool.

  • You must remove all data from the user-schema geodatabase before you can delete the geodatabase.

Syntax

DeleteSchemaGeodatabase(input_database)

The database connection (.sde) file for the user-schema geodatabase you want to delete. You must connect as the schema owner.
