Description
When tools such as Classify Raster or Inspect Training Samples run on a segmented input, an inter-index file is used. When the inter-index raster is missing or cannot be read, it will be recomputed as a temporary file. An inter-index raster is the file accompanying a segmented raster, which helps process larger segments more efficiently.
Solution
There are two ways to avoid this error:
- Use the Remove Raster Segment Tiling Artifacts tool on the segmented raster.
- Rerun the Segment Mean Shift tool to re-create the segmented raster.
