When a table has more columns than fit in the current table view, you can freeze a column to keep it visible as you scroll horizontally.
To freeze a column, right-click a field in a table and click Freeze/Unfreeze Field 
. The field is promoted to the first visible field. It remains in this position when scrolling horizontally.
To freeze multiple fields simultaneously, either press Ctrl while selecting individual fields or click the first field of a contiguous group of fields, press Shift, and click the last field. Right-click one of the selected fields and click Freeze/Unfreeze Field.
To unfreeze a field, right-click it and click Freeze/Unfreeze Field. You can select multiple fields to unfreeze them simultaneously. Unfrozen fields remain promoted until you reopen the table.
