Apply textures to a multipatch or 3D object

The Multipatch Texture tool Texture Multipatch applies a color or an image as a texture to one or more faces of a multipatch or 3D object feature. Applied textures are saved with the feature. This tool is available in the Modify Features pane.

The result is analogous to wrapping patterned paper around a plain white 3D model. After applying a texture, you can continue editing the feature using Edit Vertices Edit Vertices, and the textures conform to the new shape.

Note:

This tool is intended for geodatabase multipatch or 3D object features. Multipatch shapefiles do not support textures and can't be saved with shapefile geometry.
