Legacy:
The following only applies when sharing from ArcGIS Pro 1.3 and earlier or when sharing to Portal for ArcGIS 10.4.1 and earlier.
You are sharing a web layer that references registered data, but the data source of this layer, or the data that is joined or related to this layer, is using a registration option that is not supported when sharing from ArcGIS Pro at this release.
You cannot share a web layer that references registered data if you chose a different database connection for your publisher and server when you registered the data source with your federated server.
Solutions
- Select the layer type under Copy all data instead of Reference registered data. All layers and stand-alone tables in your map will be copied to the federated server.
- Change the data source of your layer to match a registered data store that uses a single data source.
More information
For more information about different configurations of data stores, see Data sources for ArcGIS Server.
Note:
When the publisher machine and the server are working with different folders, not geodatabases, sharing is supported.
