Manage workflow item connections

Available with Workflow Manager license.

Before you can start working with jobs, you need to connect to a portal that contains a workflow server and a workflow item.

Connect to a workflow item

Complete these steps to connect to a workflow item on your workflow server:

1. Start ArcGIS Pro.
2. Connect to the portal that contains your workflow server.

3. Click the View tab.
4. Click the Workflow Manager drop-down arrow and click Workflow Pane .

   The Workflow pane appears.

   If you have one portal connection and it contains a single workflow item, ArcGIS Pro automatically connects to it. You can now work on jobs. If you have multiple portal connections or workflow items, continue with step 5.

5. Click the Select Workflow Manager Portal drop-down arrow and choose the portal that contains the workflow server to which you want to connect.
6. Click the workflow item to which you want to connect in the Select Workflow Item list.
7. Click Connect.

   ArcGIS Pro connects to the selected workflow item. You can now work on jobs.

Switch workflow items

Complete these steps to connect to a workflow item when another workflow item is active:

1. Connect to the portal that contains your workflow server.

2. Click the View tab.
3. If necessary, click the Workflow Manager drop-down arrow and click Workflow Pane .

   The Workflow pane appears.

4. Click Switch Active Workflow Item .
5. Click the Select Workflow Manager Portal drop-down arrow and choose the portal that contains the workflow server to which you want to connect.
6. Click the workflow item to which you want to connect in the Select Workflow Item list.
7. Click Connect.

   ArcGIS Pro connects to the workflow item you chose. You can now work on jobs.
