CreateRectangleParagraphGraphicElement(ILayoutElementContainer,Envelope,String,CIMTextSymbol) Method

Creates a dynamic picture element defined by a field on a report from an envelope geometry. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Parameters

elementContainer: ILayoutElementContainer
envelope: Envelope
text: The paragraph text content
textSymbol: The text symbol (optional) or null to assign the current default

Return Value

Returns a GraphicElement.

Remarks

The element gets added to the group at the topmost position.
