GetAreaField Method—ArcGIS Pro

Gets the name of the field containing the area of the shape. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

public string GetAreaField()

Public Function GetAreaField() As String

The name of the field containing the area of the shape.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.NotSupportedException	The definition does not support this operation (e.g., the feature class is a shapefile).
GeodatabaseException	A geodatabase-related exception has occurred.
