GetObjectIDColumnName Method

Gets the name of the ObjectID field. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

The name of the ObjectID field.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
GeodatabaseException	A database-related exception has occurred.

Remarks

There are situations in which calling this method returns an empty string (please see the remarks section in IsObjectIDMappedColumnRequired). When this situation occurs, calling Database.OpenTable will cause an exception unless SetObjectIDFields is invoked first with one or more valid fields as arguments.
