Description
You see this error message when the tool is unable to update the cache configuration.
Solution
Make sure you have valid permissions to edit or update the cache configuration file. It is also a good practice to examine server log files for any errors. The log files are located at <ArcGIS Server Installation directory>\server\user\log on the SOM machine.
