Description
The asset group or asset type specified does not have the appropriate association role type assigned.
An association role must be assigned to the network feature class at the asset group and asset type level for certain network rule types.
For containment and structural attachment rule types, an association role must first be assigned to the feature class for the specific asset group or asset type as follows:
- Containment association rules—The from asset group or asset type must be assigned the container association role.
- Structural attachment association rules—The from asset group or asset type must be assigned the structure association role.
Solution
Review the network properties for the specified asset group to verify the association role assignment. Use the Set Association Role tool to assign an appropriate association role to support the rule type.
