Table options

Table options are application settings to customize whether you can interactively add new rows in a feature class attribute table. These settings apply to all your projects.

Some feature layers do not allow the addition of new stand-alone rows because their features require geometry. These layer types do not include the Click to add new row option:

• Annotation layers
• Dimension layers
• Multipatch layers

Follow these steps to change the table options:

1. Click the Project tab and click Options.
2. On the Options dialog box, under the Application heading, click the Table tab.
3. Check Hide the 'Click to add new row' option for feature class tables to hide the Click to add new row option when working with feature class attribute tables. The default setting is unchecked.
