Change annotation curvature

In the Modify Features pane, Annotation Edit Annotation includes commands on the context menu for changing the curvature of an existing annotation feature to horizontal, straight, or curved.

This workflow restores the baseline to the minimum number of vertices that define the selected curvature. This can be an efficient way to quickly simplify a baseline when you need to reshape it along a contour or a boundary.

For steps to edit an annotation baseline using Vertices Edit Vertices, see Edit annotation baselines.
