00341: A topology dataset may only be referenced by one layer: dataset <value> is referenced by <value> layers.

You are sharing a web feature layer that contains multiple layers referencing the same topology dataset. The dataset (feature class) will be indicated by the first <value> parameter and the number of layers referencing the feature class is indicated by the second <value>. For example, A topology dataset may only be referenced by one layer: dataset 'USER1.Park_Roads' is referenced by 2 layers.

Solution

Remove the duplicated layer from the map:

  • Hover over the analyzer message. Click the Options button Options that appears and click Select Layers In The Contents Pane. The duplicate layers are selected. Ensure that only one layer exists for each feature class that participates in the topology. Right-click the duplicate layers in the Contents pane and click Remove Remove so that the feature class is only referenced by one layer.
