An overview of the Elevation toolset

The Elevation toolset contains tools that operate on authoritative digital elevation models to derive surface information, such as calculating visible areas and profiles.

Tools in the Elevation toolset

Tool	Description
Profile	Returns elevation profiles for the input line features.
Summarize Elevation	Calculates summary statistics of elevation for each input feature.
Viewshed	Returns polygons of visible areas for a given set of input observation points.
