Description
The tool requires an ArcGIS Desktop Advanced license and a 3D Analyst extension license.
The following are conditions in which the required licensing may not be available:
- An ArcGIS Desktop Basic or ArcGIS Desktop Standard license was authorized.
- The 3D Analyst extension was not checked out or the license was not assigned.
- The assigned or checked out 3D Analyst extension has expired.
- When licensed for Concurrent Use, there isn't a 3D Analyst license available to check out for use.
Solution
The following solutions respectively correspond to the conditions listed in the Description field:
- Authorize an ArcGIS Desktop Advanced license. You may need to contact your system administrator.
- Assign or check out the 3D Analyst extension. You may need to contact your system administrator.
- Assign or check out a license that is not expired. You may need to contact your system administrator.
- If 3D Analyst has been enabled, colleagues on your network may be using all of the available licenses. Check with colleagues, who aren't actively using the extension, to see if they can close their ArcGIS Pro session. Frequent occurrences may warrant acquiring additional licenses.
