An overview of the Administration toolset

The Administration toolset provides tools to design and administer utility networks.

Add Tier	Creates a new tier for a domain network in a utility network.
Add Tier Group	Adds a tier group to a domain network in a utility network.
Create Utility Network	Creates a utility network in an enterprise, file, or mobile geodatabase feature dataset.
Delete Network Category	Deletes a network category in a utility network.
Delete Rule	Permanently deletes a rule from a utility network.
Delete Terminal Configuration	Deletes a terminal configuration from a utility network.
Disable Network Topology	Disables the network topology for an existing utility network.
Enable Network Topology	Enables a network topology for a utility network.
Export Associations	Exports associations from a utility network to a comma-separated-values file (.csv). This tool can be used in conjunction with the Import Associations tool.
Export Rules	Exports connectivity, structural attachment, and containment rules from a utility network into a comma-separated values file.
Export Subnetwork Controllers	Exports subnetwork controllers from a utility network to a .csv file.
Import Associations	Imports associations from a comma-separated values file (.csv) into an existing utility network. This tool can be used in conjunction with the Export Associations tool.
Import Rules	Import connectivity, structural attachment, and containment rules from a comma-separated values file into an existing utility network.
Import Subnetwork Controllers	Imports subnetwork controllers from a .csv file into a utility network.
Set Association Role	Alters the association role assigned to a network feature class or table at the asset type level.
Set Edge Connectivity	Defines how features will connect to a line or edge object of a given asset type.
Set Network Attribute	Assigns a network attribute to a feature class or table at the asset type level to be used during tracing operations.
Set Network Category	Assigns a network category to a feature class or table at the asset type level to be used during tracing operations.
Set Subnetwork Definition	Sets the domain network tier's properties for a subnetwork in a utility network.
Set Terminal Configuration	Assigns a terminal configuration to an asset type in a utility network.
