Rotate Aviation Features (Aviation)

Available with Aviation Charting license.

Summary

Aligns features to a grid or to the page.

Using the Rotate Aviation Features tool, you can automate the rotation of point and annotation features on a chart to make them easier to read. The Rotate Aviation Features tool combines functionality from two ArcMap tools: Annotation Rotation and Rotate To Grid.

Usage

  • The cartographic features you input to the Target Point or Annotation Features parameter must have a CARTOANGLE_VAL field.

    Note:

Annotation features are not required to have a CARTOANGLE_VAL field.
