A Single Use license authorizes one person to use ArcGIS Pro. That person can use the software on one computer at a time. A Single Use license does not require signing in to an ArcGIS organization to use the software.
ArcGIS Pro Single Use licenses can be obtained in two ways:
- Directly from Esri.
- Through license conversion if the ArcGIS Pro license is acquired as part of an ArcGIS Desktop deployment. A Named User license can be converted to Single Use if the ArcGIS Desktop license is Single Use. Licenses are converted in My Esri by ArcGIS software license administrators.

Note:
ArcGIS Pro Named User licenses that are acquired as GIS Professional user types or as add-on licenses can't be converted to Single Use licenses.
