A cached service layer or scene layer package in your map or scene is in a different projection than the map or scene being shared. The best solution depends on what you are sharing and whether the service layer is your basemap.
The first <value> parameter is service layer or scene layer package.
The second <value> parameter is basemap or scene.
- Web maps require a basemap to be in the same coordinate system as the map being shared. All cached service layers in the map must use the same tiling scheme as the basemap.
- Web scenes do not require a basemap. However, if a basemap or other cached service layers are included in the scene, they must use the same, valid tiling scheme as the coordinate system of the scene. Learn more about tiling scheme requirements.
- If the scene contains a voxel web scene layer, the scene must use the same coordinate system as the voxel web scene layer.
Solutions
Do one of the following:
Change the coordinate system of your map or scene to match the basemap. (This assumes the service layer causing the error is a basemap.)
Hover over the analyzer message. Click the Options button that appears and click Update Map To Use Basemap's Coordinate System. The coordinate system of the map or scene is updated automatically.
Change the coordinate system of your map or scene to match the service layer or scene layer package. (This assumes the service layer causing the error is not a basemap.)
Hover over the analyzer message. Click the Options button that appears and click Change Coordinate Systems Properties. On the Map Properties dialog box, on the Coordinate Systems tab, change the map's coordinate system to match the service layer.
- Remove the service layer or scene layer package from the map or scene.
Note:
If you are sharing a web map, your map must have a basemap.
- Re-create the scene layer package in a spatial reference that matches the scene.
More information
The map or scene you are sharing must be in the same coordinate system as any cached service layers included in the map or scene. This is because some web clients such as Map Viewer Classic and Scene Viewer can only display cached service layers in the coordinate system in which they were cached. You can see the coordinate system of a service layer in its layer properties on the Source tab under Spatial Reference.

Note:
In a global scene, the ArcGIS Online/Bing Maps/Google Maps tiling scheme can be used if the scene's coordinate system is set to WGS 1984.
