Message: Dimensions cannot be edited while being projected on the fly

This message is displayed in the Editing Status dialog box.

Cause

The spatial reference for the dimension feature class does not match the projection of the map.

Solution

Change the projection of the map to match the projection of the layer containing the dimensions.
