GetConnector Method (Geodatabase)

Gets the Connector associated with the currently opened geodatabase. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

public override Connector GetConnector()

Public Overrides NotOverridable Function GetConnector() As Connector

The Connector associated with the currently opened geodatabase.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.InvalidOperationException	No valid geodatabase has been opened prior to invoking this operation.
ArcGIS.Core.Data.Exceptions.GeodatabaseException	A geodatabase-related exception has occurred.

Remarks

If this Geodatabase instance is connected to an enterprise geodatabase via either Geodatabase Constructor(DatabaseConnectionProperties) or Geodatabase Constructor(DatabaseConnectionFile), calling this method will always return DatabaseConnectionProperties.
