ConstructMarkerFromFile Method (SymbolFactory)

Constructs a marker from file. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Parameters

file: The full path to file on disk.

Return Value

ArcGIS.Core.CIM.CIMMarker

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run

Remarks

Marker can be created from the following file formats: JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, EMF, 3DS, FLT, DAE, OBJ, SVG, GLTF, GLB
