GetRulePackageDescription Method (SymbolFactory)

Populate the associated rule package description. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

A populated rule package description.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run.
System.IO.FileNotFoundException	{rulePackagePath} not found or is inaccessible
System.NotSupportedException	Cannot use rule packages that create leaf shapes with procedural symbols.
System.ApplicationException	Call to retrieve rule package attributes failed.

Remarks

Package description includes the geometry type and all (non-hidden) rule package attributes.
