EstimatePointCount Method

Estimates the number of points within the specified area of interest. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	The geometry cannot be null.
System.ArgumentException	The geometry is of the wrong type.
ArcGIS.Core.Data.Exceptions.GeodatabaseException	A geodatabase-related exception has occurred.
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run

Remarks

The geometry must be a ArcGIS.Core.Geometry.Polygon, an ArcGIS.Core.Geometry.Envelope or a ArcGIS.Core.Geometry.GeometryBag containing polygons or envelopes. It will be projected into the spatial reference of the LAS dataset. Z range information, if set on the input geometry, is ignored.
