GetPointByID(Int32,Double) Method

Gets the point specified by the file index and point ID. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Syntax

public LasPoint GetPointByID( 
   int fileIndex,
   double pointID
)

) As LasPoint

A LasPoint. Returns null if the file index or point Id combination cannot find a point.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentException	The file index or point ID are invalid.
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run

Remarks

To ensure maximum robustness, callers should explicitly dispose of the returned LasPoint in either a using statement or a finally block.
