GetDefaultValue Method (Field)

Gets the field's default value at the table level if is not set. Otherwise, gets the field's default value for the specific . This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Parameters

subtype: The specific Subtype for the field's default value. This argument is optional. If unset or set to null, the field's default value at the table level is returned.

Return Value

The default value if one is assigned; otherwise, null is returned.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
ArcGIS.Core.Data.Exceptions.GeodatabaseException	A geodatabase-related exception has occurred.

Requirements
