CreateDynamicPictureGraphicElement(IElementContainer,Envelope,String) Method

Creates a dynamic picture element on a report from an envelope geometry. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Parameters

elementContainer: IElementContainer
envelope: Envelope
arcadeExpression: A string that represents an arcade expression defining the source.

Return Value

Returns a GraphicElement.

ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run.
System.InvalidOperationException	Invalid report section.
System.InvalidOperationException	Invalid report.
System.InvalidOperationException	Element extents outside section.
System.InvalidOperationException	Dynamic picture elements only valid in details section.
System.InvalidOperationException	Failed to create picture graphic.

Remarks

The element gets added to the group at the topmost position.
