There are three license types for ArcGIS Indoors that provide access to different apps and functionality:
- ArcGIS Indoors Pro allows you to create and share floor-aware maps in ArcGIS Pro, and use geoprocessing tools in the Indoors toolbox.
- ArcGIS Indoors Maps includes Indoors capabilities at an ArcGIS organization level, such as configuring floor-aware maps in Map Viewer and creating Indoors apps. Indoors Maps includes unlimited use of ArcGIS Indoors Pro functionality for members of the organization, and access to Indoor Viewer, Indoors mobile, and Indoors kiosk to support indoor mapping, wayfinding, and navigation.
Note:
You can access ArcGIS Indoors Pro functionality in ArcGIS Pro when connected to an organization licensed with ArcGIS Indoors Maps.
- ArcGIS Indoors Spaces is an add-on to ArcGIS Indoors Maps that enables workspace reservation capabilities in Indoor Viewer and Indoors mobile apps, as well as access to Indoor Space Planner to support space management and Indoor Floor Plan Editor to support floor plan updates.

ArcGIS Indoors Pro licensing
ArcGIS Indoors Pro is licensed through Named User licensing if purchased separately. If your organization is licensed with Indoors Maps, Named User licensing is not required. You can set the active portal to the organization with the Indoors Maps license to access Indoors Pro functionality.
If ArcGIS Pro is licensed in a different way than ArcGIS Indoors, you can also set the active portal to an ArcGIS organization licensed for Indoors Maps to access Indoors functionality. For example, if ArcGIS Pro is licensed through a Concurrent Use license but your ArcGIS Enterprise portal contains an ArcGIS Indoors Maps organizational license, you can set the active portal to your Enterprise portal in ArcGIS Pro and access Indoors capabilities.
If you are using ArcGIS Indoors Pro licensed through ArcGIS Enterprise, administrators can convert Named User licenses to Single Use or Concurrent Use licenses.
Note:
ArcGIS Indoors Maps, ArcGIS Indoors Spaces, and ArcGIS Indoors Pro licenses are supported at ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and later, ArcGIS Enterprise 11.0 and later, and the current release of ArcGIS Online.
Additional license requirements
In addition to an Indoors license, the following licenses are required to create indoor routable networks using Indoors geoprocessing tools:
