You control all aspects of a layer through the layer's properties. General information and display control for a given point cloud scene layer can be found on the point cloud scene layer Layer Properties dialog box in ArcGIS Pro. To access a point cloud scene layer Layer Properties dialog box in ArcGIS Pro, right-click the point cloud scene layer in the Contents pane and click Properties.
General tab
The General tab on the Layer Properties dialog box allows the layer display name to be modified. You can also set a Visibility Range value in which to display the layer. The Closest distance value is not supported by the point cloud scene layer.
Source tab
The Source tab describes the data source, extent, and spatial reference. You can set the data source for point cloud service and .slpk file data sources.
Elevation tab
The Elevation tab list elevation options available in ArcGIS Pro. Cartographic offset is the only option that is available for point cloud scene layers. Point cloud scene layers are optimized for viewing, and as such, their elevation options cannot be modified. For more information on Cartographic offset, see Define height characteristics for layers.
Cache tab
The Cache tab allows you to specify caching options for layers. The Clear Cache button does not apply to a point cloud scene layer. For more information on caching, see Set caching options.
Point Cloud Layer Filter tab
The Point Cloud Layer Filter tab provides available lidar point filters that you can apply if the point cloud scene layer references lidar data. The lidar point filters that are selected from the Layer Properties dialog box are applied to the point cloud scene layer displayed. The Classification Codes, Return Values, and Classification Flags settings can be used to filter the lidar points.
See Storing lidar data and Change filter options for a point cloud scene layer for more information.
