Share a presentation to images

You can export a presentation to a series of image files created for each page. Depending on the image file type chosen, the export options may differ, such as the compression settings supported.

For video pages, the exported image uses the first frame of the video as the image for the page. The image of a map page is the full extent view of the page. Any elements that are placed outside of a page border are not exported to the output image files.

You can export to the following image file formats:

  • AIX—Adobe Illustrator Exchange format
  • BMP—Bitmap
  • EMF—Enhanced Metafile
  • EPS—Encapsulated PostScript
  • JPEG—Joint Photographic Experts Group
  • PNG—Portable Network Graphics
  • SVG—Scalable Vector Graphic
  • SVGZ—Scalable Vector Graphic Zipped
  • TGA—Truevision Graphics Adapter
  • TIFF—Tag Image File Format
  • Animated GIF—Graphic Interchange Format, supports simple animation.

To learn about the properties available for each export file formats see Introduction to exporting a map or layout as the settings are the same for a presentation.
