ScreenToClient Method (LayoutView)

Converts a point in screen coordinates to a point in client coordinates. This method must be called on the MCT. Use QueuedTask.Run.

Parameters

screenPoint: The point value in screen coordinates.

Return Value

The converted point in client coordinates.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
System.ArgumentNullException	screenPoint
ArcGIS.Core.CalledOnWrongThreadException	This method or property must be called within the lambda passed to QueuedTask.Run.

Remarks

Client coordinates will be in pixels relative to the top-left corner of the view. If either screen coordinate value is double.NaN then a point with X, Y both set to System.Double.NaN is returned.

Target Platforms: Windows 11, Windows 10

ArcGIS Pro version: 3 or higher.
