The Buffer builder 
generates a polygon feature at a specified distance around a sketched primary polygon feature.
This builder is available to feature templates that create polygon features when a group template is configured with the following settings:
- The primary template creates polygon features.
- The group template toolset on the Tools side tab is set to Polygon tools.
Parameters

Distance | The distance around the primary polygon feature at which the boundary for the new polygon is created. Null geometry is generated when you specify a distance of zero.
