Turn on stereo display and create a stereo map

To compile 3D features in a stereo map, turn on a stereoscopic display mode and set the stereo map to a stereo data source. 3D features are edited on existing feature layers with existing editing tools and editing templates and saved to a geodatabase.

For simplicity, stereo workflows in the ArcGIS Pro editing help use the 3D cyan/red glasses stereoscopic display mode. To learn more about other stereoscopic display modes and stereo data sources, see Work with stereo mapping in ArcGIS Pro.

Tip:

To visualize your 3D edits in a scene, convert the stereo map using the To Local Scene command To Local Scene on the ribbon View tab. Place the two views side by side and link the pointer across the two views. To learn more about using a scene for editing, see Configure a scene for 3D editing.
