Interact with a map page in full screen mode

While blank and image presentation pages are a static view in full screen presentation mode, map pages are interactive when presented in full screen mode. The Explore tool is active, and navigation keyboard shortcuts apply to the full screen view. You can pan, zoom, or, in a scene, tilt the angle of the camera perspective to show the map at different scales or regions of detail. When you advance to the next page, the map page is reset to the original extent.

You can click any feature to open the pop-up to display attribute information. Some pop-up functionality is limited in full screen display. For example, you cannot pin a pop-up. Interactive capabilities are also available when in full screen when using presenter mode.

To set the visible layers for a map page, it is recommended that you create multiple map pages from the same map source and use presentation page properties to control the layer visibility. Use the full screen Next Page and Previous Page playback buttons to page through the different versions of the map page.

To capture a workflow in the map that relies on other tools or parts of the application, such as measuring or editing, it is recommended that you record the steps with a third-party application and insert the recording as a video page in the presentation.
