Available with Location Referencing license.
ArcGIS Pipeline Referencing supports the creation of data products, which can be a .csv file or a geodatabase table that is generated by transforming LRS data. The output file can be added to a reporting solution of your choice such as the reporting tools in ArcGIS Pro and others. You can add totals, summaries, details, header, footer, notes, logos, and more to the report.
Create a data product by using a template
The general workflow to create a data product using a template is as follows:
- Use Data Product Designer to design and create reusable templates.
- Length—Create an LRS length data product that calculates length of routes based on their characteristics. You can provide a name and data source, add filters, and define the summary and length fields.
- Route Log—Create an LRS route log data product that provides measure locations for characteristics along the route. You can provide a name and data source, add filters, and define the route identifier, log, location, and referent fields.
- Feature Count—Create an LRS feature count data product that provides the information on the number of line events, point events, and intersections per route. You can provide a name and data source, add filters, and define the summary, route identifier, and feature count fields.
Templates are saved as shareable .json files.
- Run the Generate LRS Data Product tool with the template on a set of routes in a network to produce the data product.
