The ContingentFieldValue object contains properties that describe the properties of the field used for a contingent value.

Discussion

ContingentFieldValue objects cannot be created directly. Contingent value properties can be accessed through the values object that is returned by the arcpy.da.ListContingentValues function.

The type of field value used for the contingent value.

  • ANYThe field value can be any value.
  • CODED_VALUEThe field value is a code used in a coded value domain that has been assigned to the field.
  • NULLThe field value is null.
  • RANGEThe field value is a subset range of a range domain that has been assigned to the field.
