Delete a feature template

The Manage Templates pane Manage Templates lists all feature templates for the current project in a tree view. You can select a map or a layer and delete associated templates that appear in the template section of the pane. This pane is available on the Edit tab, in the Manage Edits group.

Delete a feature template

Delete Delete deletes the selected feature templates. This command is available on the pane's toolbar and when you right-click a feature template.

  1. On the ribbon, click the Edit tab. In the Manage Edits group, click Manage Templates Manage Templates.

    Alternatively, click Manage Templates Manage Templates in the Create Features pane.

    The Manage Templates pane appears.

  2. Click a layer in the layer window tree view.

    Templates for the layer appear in the template window.

  3. Click a template in the pane's template window. Press the Ctrl key while clicking to select multiple templates.

    To select a range of templates, press the Shift key while clicking.

  4. Click Delete Delete on the toolbar.

    Alternatively, right-click and click Delete Delete

    The feature templates are deleted.

Batch delete templates

Delete all templates Delete deletes all templates for a selected map or layer in one step.

  1. On the ribbon, click the Edit tab. In the Manage Edits group, click Manage Templates Manage Templates

    Alternatively, click Manage Templates Manage Templates in the Create Features pane.

    The Manage Templates pane appears.

  2. Right-click a map name or layer name in the layer window and click Delete all templates Delete.

    All feature templates for the map or the layer are deleted.
