00210: <Value> uses the same layer ID as another layer/table: <value> assigned

You are sharing a web feature, web tile, or map image layer that contains layers or stand-alone tables with the same layer or table ID.

The first <value> parameter refers to a layer or stand-alone table. The second <value> parameter refers to the duplicated ID value.

Solutions

Do one of the following:

  • Replace duplicate IDs with unique IDs.

Hover over the analyzer message. Click the Options button Options that appears and click Change General Layer Properties (for a layer) or Change General Standalone Table Properties (for a stand-alone table). In the properties dialog box, on the General tab, change the Layer ID to a number that is unique in the map or scene.

    Note:

The analyzer creates separate errors for each layer or stand-alone table with a common ID. If there are two duplicate values, you only need to change one.

  • Disable the option to assign static IDs to your layers or stand-alone tables.

In the Contents pane, right-click the map name and click Properties Properties. On the Map Properties dialog box, on the General tab, uncheck Allow assignment of unique numeric IDs for sharing web layers.
