Multifile feature connection properties

When a multifile feature connection is created, there are several properties that define the connection. It is important to inspect the MFC properties and update them to correctly reflect your data. The properties define how the data is used, processed by geoprocessing tools, and visualized.

  • Geometry—How geometry is represented. Geometry is not editable for shapefiles.
