By analyzing the performance of your active Indoor Positioning Dataset, you can identify one or multiple areas where the positioning performance does not meet the required expectations. If you identify such areas, you can do the following:
- Update your Indoor Positioning Dataset with new data to ensure that it is up to date, improving positioning accuracy:
- Evaluate your beacon locations and ensure that the affected area is sufficiently covered by the radio signal. Also, ensure that there is no obstruction to the visible beacons. If necessary, add more Bluetooth beacons in the area.
- Check the status and health of the beacons, such as battery level, power level, and advertising interval.
- Evaluate the location of your Wi-Fi access points and ensure that the affected area is sufficiently covered by the radio signal.
- Ensure that all the survey recordings used to generate an Indoor Positioning Dataset are prepared using best practices.
