You control many aspects of a layer through the layer's properties dialog window. General information and display control for a given triangulated irregular network (TIN) can be found on the TIN's Layer Properties dialog box in ArcGIS Pro. The TIN's Layer Properties dialog box contains the same functionality for a TIN in a map or scene view.
You can access the TIN's layer properties by right-clicking the TIN in the Contents pane, and selecting Properties.
General tab
The General tab on the Layer Properties dialog box allows the TIN layer display name and description to be modified. You can also set a scale range in which to display the TIN layer using theScale Range option.
Metadata tab
The Metadata tab allows you to add metadata information for your TIN layer.
Source tab
The Source tab allows you to view the extent of your data. You can view and change the source of your data from this tab.
The bounding Extent, Spatial Reference, and Domain, Resolution, and Tolerance information for the TIN layer also displays.
Elevation tab
The Elevation tab allows you to specify whether features display on the ground or on the elevation surface for the map.
Display tab
The Display tab allows you to turn the MapTips option on or off for a TIN layer.
Cache tab
The Elevation tab allows you to specify when to clear the cache for layers.
