Share and import favorites

You can share your favorite symbols by exporting them or import a favorites file that another user created.

Share favorite symbols

You can export your favorites to a file to share.

1. On the ribbon, click the tab where you added the Military Symbology Editor tools, and click Military Symbology Editor .
2. In the Military Symbology Editor pane, click the Favorites tab.
3. Click the Save As button.
4. Browse to a location where you have write access.
5. Provide a name for your favorites file.

   The file extension for a Military Symbology Editor favorites file is .msfav.

6. Click Save.

Import favorite symbols

You can import a favorites file created by another user.

1. In the Military Symbology Editor pane, click the Favorites tab.
2. Click the Import button.
3. Browse to the location of the .msfav file.
4. Click the .msfav file.
5. Click Open.

   The new favorite symbols are added to the Favorites tab.
